Thursday 2nd February - Vigil for the Abolition of Meat

On a freezing cold Thursday evening, 10 -12 of us held a vigil to remember the 2.7mn animals killed in the UK alone each year for eggs, dairy and meat. We had a stall, candles and handed out lots of leaflets. We also enjoyed some hot chocolate, and getting to know a couple of new members to BARC.

We displayed some clear images of farmed animals, which highlighted some of the terror that they go through.
