Saturday 1st May 2010 Bank Holiday Demo at Noah's Ark
11 of us visited the zoo for a demo this Bank Holiday Monday. It was great to have this number of people and we were really visible from the road. We had the usual numerous honks of support from passing motorists and it’s really good to know that lots of local people really hate this zoo. A massive shout out must go to the couple who were going to visit the zoo but took one of our leaflets, read it in the zoo’s car park and after talking to us decided not to go in! If only more people were like you! We were pleased that zoo owner and creationist extraordinaire Anthony Bush didn’t come and waffle on at us as he sometimes does, to be fair he is always reasonably polite but has an ability to talk for england and seem’s to be on a different planet to everybody else.
Our shiny new and updated leaflets were given to most people visiting the zoo and we hope our message gets through to them and they decide not to go back!
