Bristol Zoo demo Sunday 23rd January

Continuing the theme from our ongoing campaign against Noah's Ark Zoo Farm and our protest outside the Blue Reef aquarium earlier this month we decided to also pay a trip to Bristol Zoo to remind people that no animals should be kept captive for entertainment.

We had some interesting conversations with people outside the entrance and handed out lots of leaflets about zoos, opening the eyes of the public to the truth behind zoos' false claims into conservation and education. One person who stopped to talk on the way out commented on how depressed the gorilla looked, sitting in a concrete cell with his head in his hands. Where is the 'educational' value in that, Bristol Zoo??
